Christmas wreaths are a great way to spruce up your front door
during the holidays. You can find grapevine wreaths or traditional
green wreaths at nearly any craft store. We've all seen the evergreen
wreaths with the red bows or jingle bells.
With little effort, those plain or traditional wreaths can become
works of art showing individual personality and creativity. Even
the most "un-crafty" person can put together a beautiful
holiday wreath to match any home decor style from rustic, country
charm to elegant victorian and everything in between.
The supply list for wreath making is generally the same. You'll
need your wreath, either grapevine or evergreen. Wire cutters are
good to have on hand when using floral stems or floral wire. A hot
glue gun is essential along with ribbon or tulle and your choice
of baubles or bells, flowers or leaves or any other accessory you
desire.
Joann.com
is a great source for how-to's on a variety of wreath styles. It's
a great place to find inspiration for creating your own holiday
wreaths. I know I found some ideas that helped me create, not only
a white and gold poinsettia wreath, but poinsettia wreaths for candles
as well. See my Christmas Candle
Wreaths for details.
I have put together a showing of a variety of wreaths that I hope
will help to get your creative juices flowing. For complete step-by-steps
on a specific wreath, check out the Projects area at Joann.com
