Decorating with Pumpkins
By H. Iacobacci-Miller
With the onset of fall, a new color palette appears. The leaves
are changing
and the scenery is full of rustic oranges and yellows. It's also
time to start decorating for Halloween and then Thanksgiving. What
if you don't want to change your decor so frequently or you're not
really into ghosts and goblins?
Pumpkins can be a terrific way to decorate throughout the fall
and cover both Halloween and Thanksgiving. Pumpkins can be used
to create interesting center pieces for holiday tables. Pumpkins
can also be used to spruce up your porch for fall.
Decorating
with pumpkins is simple and relatively inexpensive. You can use
real pumpkins or even ceramic pumpkins that can be used year after
year.
Decorating with pumpkins can be as simple as going to your local
grocery store and selecting pumpkins in various sizes and arranging
them on your dining room table with dried fall leaves. For your
porch, use various sized pumpkins in a group around a pot of bright
colored mums. Pumpkins also look great lining your stairways.
You don't have to be an artist to decorate with pumpkins. Just
use what nature has given!

for fall, we would love to see photos!
